Santos is a beautiful city on the Atlantic, close to São Paulo. Founded in 1543, it has become one of the world’s leading coffee ports, and is the largest Latin American port. The city is separated from the mainland by a tidal channel and is built on swamp land, which is the reason for the “dancing” (leaning) buildings on the beach of Santos.

Santos ist eine schöne Stadt am Atlantic, nicht weit von São Paulo. Gegründet im Jahr 1543, wuchs es zu einem der führenden Häfen im Kaffeehandel und ist der größte latein-amerikanische Hafen. Die Stadt ist vom Festland durch einen Meerwasserkanal getrennt und auf einen Sumpf gebaut, was der Grund ist für die tanzenden (schiefen) Gebäude vom Santos Strand ist.

Xiamen ist eine  Hafenstadt mit rund 4 Millionen Einwohner an der Südostküste der Volksrepublik China. Der Stadtkern liegt auf einer der Küste vorgelagerten Insel. Die zweitgrößte Stadt der Region Fujian hat ein subtropisches Klima und viele Naturschönheiten in ihrer Umgebung.

Xiamen is a port city with about 4 million inhabitants on the southeast coast of the People’s Republic of China. The city center is located on an island off the coast. The second largest city in the Fujian region has a subtropical climate and many natural beauties in its surroundings.
